Brar
The Brar Canyon is located just 15 minutes outside of Tirana. The climbing routes are steep and challenging, with the most rewarding climbs starting around grade 6b. The approach is short but physically demanding. Don’t be discouraged, though – this is some of the finest climbing Albania has to offer. The stunning striped limestone walls and long, winding tufas will have you coming back for more. If you plan to open new sport climbing routes, please reach out to the local community. Climbers who bolt routes without local consent may face legal consequences according to local laws.

Description
Climbing in Albania is the most exciting development in Sport Climbing in the last decade! I've been climbing in Kalymnos, Ceuse, and all over Catalunya, and Albania is just as good, if not better! There is so much still to be climbed and bolted out there - the potential seems endless!!! This film is a glimpse into Albanian climbing in the hope to inspire some more climbers to make it their next climbing trip!

Description
BD Athlete Seb Bouin was looking for a new experience. “We usually go to places where the climbing is already developed,” he explained. So, Bouin, along with his mom and two dogs, got in the van and drove up the coast of France to reach Albania. There they found a plethora of undeveloped limestone ripe for the bolting, as well as an undone 9b king line bolted by none other than BD Athlete Adam Ondra. Check out this video of Seb Bouin living the Balkan Dream.
